ADMISSION FOR KASHMIR STUDENTS

AICTE conduct Online Counselling Process for Admissions of J&K and Ladakh Students under PMSS (Prime Minister Special Scholarship) Program.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Domicile - Must be a domicile of UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
2. Education - HSC Must have passed 10+2 examination in academic session 2023-24 & 2024-25 only from J&K BOSE only or CBSE schools located in UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
3. Lateral Entry (Diploma) - Must have passed 10+3 Diploma from UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Polytechnics are eligible for admission in directly in second year in prescribed list of colleges in the vacant seats of Engineering branch only.
4. Income - 8.00 Lakh or below per annum (Family Income from all sources).

Process:

• Log on to AICTE Website and follow the Steps to apply for “Online Registration for scholarship” and follow the instructions on how to fill the online application.
• Step 1: Open AICTE Website via link: https://www.aicte-india.org/bureaus/jk
• Step 2: Go to PMSSS tab on the home page.
• Step 3: Further click on the tab of A/Y 2024-25 and register yourself by following the instructions.
