About Bachelor of Technology:

B.Tech, short for Bachelor of Technology, is an undergraduate engineering course that leads to a degree upon completion of four years of study. This engineering degree serves as a foundation for a career in the field of engineering. In India, B.Tech engineering programs are overseen by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Individuals with a curious, creative, and innovative mindset, who enjoy delving into problems and applying logical thinking and reasoning, may find engineering to be a suitable profession. B.Tech, with its comprehensive four-year curriculum, imparts technical skills as well as interpersonal skills. It fosters teamwork, enhances precision and accuracy, offers opportunities to enhance communication skills, and instills resilience and self-discipline in students.

Eligibility For B.Tech

To be eligible for admission into the B.E./B.Tech. program in Rajasthan, candidates must have successfully completed their 10+2 (12th) examinations with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics and Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship (any three subjects). However, candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC/ST/Non-creamy layer OBC/Non-creamy layer MBC and PwD category of Rajasthan State are required to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in the above-mentioned subjects. These qualifications must be obtained from either the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE), the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), or any other examination recognized and deemed equivalent by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan/Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

CEG REAP is a state-level admission procedure specifically designed for Engineering Aspirants – JEE Mains/Advance, 12th Science-Maths students. It follows a comprehensive Rajasthan Engineering Admission Counselling Process, where 15% of the seats are for JEE Mains Student (First priority), 70% of the seats are allocated based on merit rank. The remaining 15% of seats are filled through direct admission under the management quota. The Centre for Electronic Governance, Rajasthan, conducts this online counselling cum admission process for engineering institutes in Rajasthan. The merit list is prepared by considering various factors such as JEE Mains score card, Class XII Science- PCM marks, and overall marks released by BSER (Board of Secondary Education) and other state boards, CBSE Board, ICSE Board, and Other State Board.

Leep Admission Process

LEEP Admission /Lateral Entry Admission has been conducting through online counseling process (other than PMSSS seats) for admission in 2nd year B.Tech. course by Diploma-Degree Students on the basis of polytechnic diploma and/or B.Sc. exam marks merit.

Passed Diploma examination (3 years) with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category- SC, ST, Non-Creamy layer OBC, Non-Creamy layer MBC and PwD) in any branch of Engineering and Technology from AICTE approved Institution/ UGC Approved Universities.

For Management Quota, Cut Off Marks is decided on the basis of Cut Off List for B.Sc. or Diploma released by Department of Education or HTE, Rajasthan.

Every Year Department of Education released Cut Off List for B.Sc in Raj Rishi College, Government PG College etc.
